Our Philosophy and Goals
Tomorrow’s adults, are in our hands today. Today’s children need to be protected and taught the word of God. So that tomorrow’s adults will be strong intelligent and moral individuals.
Our Purpose is to teach and demonstrate God’s love to your child in a nurturing environment.Your child will learn who God is and feel God’s love. The foundation of Spectrum Preschool is the development of compassion and respect. We turn to God’s Word for instruction, and look to Jesus and his love for all people.
Our Goals include helping each child develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually through a variety of planned activities based on a developmentally appropriate Christian curriculum. Our curriculum is based on hands-on-experiences. Activities are both teacher and child-initiated.
Our Teachers are facilitators who prepare a Christian environment which will offer spirtually stimulating and challenging activities and materials. Spiritual experiences, art, music, math, manipulative, science, sensory, dramatic play and literature are part of every day’s activities. Our schedule provides a balance of active and quiet times.
